Hello, I'm a medium-agnostic director, writer, and content creator currently working as Atlas Obscura's Director of Video.
Prior to joining Atlas, I was a Creative Director at Blue Man Group and my work included music videos, promotional films, branded content, short form documentaries, comedic shorts, fanfic adaptations, photography, and crochet sculpture. I'm comfortable leading large productions and welcome the challenge of low-budget projects armed with an iPhone, flashlights, and the contents of your junk drawer.
I have a BFA in Fiber & Material Studies from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in Art Theory & Practice from Northwestern University. My video art has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.
I currently live in Brooklyn with my wife and our two guinea pigs Muffins and Chin Chin.
